An international conference on agricultural investment, gender and land in Africa will be taking place from March 5 to 7, in Cape Town, South Africa.
This conference organized by the Future Agricultures Consortium (FAC) and other partners. About 100 delegates are expected and they are billed to exchange experiences and evidence-based knowledge on the implications of public and private agricultural investments for rural livelihoods, gender relations and social differentiation.
Future Agricultures is one of the co-organizers of the conference, along with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), PLAAS, the African Union’s Land Policy Initiative, the African Development Bank and the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
The conference is opened to all stakeholders in the field of agriculture and related fields. It is an annual event that paves the way towards agricultural development in the continent.
We expect healthy deliberations. BELVYNA will provide updates.
