Year 2017 is gradually coming to a close.
It has been a year of bumper food harvests in many countries.
In Nigeria, the Central Bank of Nigeria had new initiatives like the Anchor Borrowers Scheme to encourage investments along the Agricultural value chain.
While this was a positive, good and favorable thing to happen, some floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, raging and wild forest fires also occurred.
The human migration from Africa to Europe, Middle East troubled/war torn areas to Europe and so many more.
Many homes and families did not have enough food; consequently they experienced hunger in varying degrees.
What we are very concerned in BELVYNA GLOBAL is that governments the world over should implement people friendly policies that will improve the life of the common man. Food, shelter and clothing should be available, affordable and the availability should be sustainable.
There are teeming youths and graduates without gainful employment. Entrepreneurship at all levels (micro, small, medium and macro) should be encouraged. The government should create the enabling environment for these policies to be implemented. In other words, policies should have a human face.
If you train a man in a particular trade/vocation, then he should be enabled and empowered to practice that trade and also employ one or two people. That is how big enterprises and conglomerates are born.
We at BELVYNA will always be ready and willing to contribute our quota in the
– Training of entrepreneurs in t he agricultural sector
– Mentoring of the new entrepreneurs and we shall play
– Comprehensive business advisory role in order to ensure they do not fall by the way side.
On behalf of all of us at BELVYNA GLOBAL, we wish all our friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year.
